Bring us to your Home

Your favorite band is coming through the area, you wait for the tickets to go on sale, and then you purchase them.  The night comes and you get dressed up, head out to dinner, and then wait in a long line before sitting down and enjoying the concert.  All good things right? What if we brought the concert to you?  You could invite your friends over, have light appetizers or desserts, and enjoy a night of music in your living room or backyard. Email booking@jsmusic.net to start the conversation about having us come.  We’d love to make a Night of Worship a reality....

There is a light…

There is a light…

Recently I had the privilege of leading worship at a graduation ceremony at Mercy Ministries.  Mercy Ministries is a program designed to help women from 13-28 with life controlling issues such as eating disorders, abuse, trafficking, and alcohol or drug dependencies.  Check out Mercy Ministries to find out more about their programs.  To learn more about the founder Nancy Alcorn check out her blog. While I was there I got to hear from one of their residents who was graduating from the program after battling anorexia.  She said something to the room full of residents that stuck with me.  She said, “There is a light at the end of the tunnel and His name is Jesus.”  I think this is something we can all take into our own lives.  Often we try and battle things on our own but forget that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.  It was a powerful statement coming from someone who just walked through a season of life where that statement rang true....

Luis Palau Festival in Sacramento, CA

This past January I was privileged to join Darnisha Taylor, The Porter Brothers, and the MLK Choir as we led worship at an event that honored the life of Reverend Martin Luther King Jr.  It was a stretching experience for me because I had never done gospel before.  I learned a lot and LOVED every minute of it.  I got asked to join them again in a few weeks to sing at the Luis Palau festival in Sacramento, CA. The festival is June 16-17 at Cal Expo in Sacramento. We are singing on Sunday night the 17th.  Other artists on the roster include Lincoln Brewster, Mandisa, Skillet and a message from world renowned evangelist Luis Palau. Hope to see you out there! Check out more information at...
