Help Fund the New CD

I am really excited to announce that I am going to head back into the studio and record a new project this year! I have been dreaming up this project for a long time so I am excited to get the ball rolling to make it happen in 2019. I am currently in the planning stages for this project and one of the big hurdles in producing a new CD is the cost. There are many phases to producing a project. Those are writing, recording, mixing, mastering, duplication, and promotion. Each stage builds on the last one to end up with the final CD.

WHAT DOES THIS NEW PROJECT LOOK LIKE?

We will be doing full band versions of some of the songs from my EP The Sound of Your Name, brand new songs, as well as a live acoustic version of a couple classic hymns.

WHAT DOES RECORDING LOOK LIKE?

I am going to record this project with Brandon Bee. Brandon produced my single “Praise You Lord of All”. We will be recording in Tri-Cities, WA at his studio. Doing a project like this will require that I fly up there a couple times during production. Brandon will mix the project and get it ready to send to the next phase. Mixing a project involves adjusting levels of each track to make sure that it is pleasing to the ear. We will then send the project to mastering. Mastering is the polishing step. Mastering looks at the whole project and makes sure that it has a cohesive sound. After that we will send all the tracks and artwork to be duplicated. We will also send everything out to the digital partners to be added to services like Spotify, iTunes, and the Android store.

WHY ARENT YOU USING A CROWDFUNDING SITE LIKE KICKSTARTER?

Crowd funding sites take a percentage of the overall money as well as the debit/ credit card fees. This means that I have to ask for a larger amount of money to help offset the cost for the project. I am trying to be more economical and use this platform to lower my costs.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

> Pray for us during this process. Putting a new record out is a big project. There are many steps from writing songs to getting the project in your hands. Pray for all the people that are involved with it and that the process goes smoothly.

> Help support the project financially. We are looking to raise $5000 to produce this project. We are grateful for any way that you can help make this happen.
